OT: I NEED SOME HELPFUL IDEAS TO GET

vomit and bloody stool stains off the carpet!!! my little dog bandit is sick and has a very loose stool and has blood in it and he also has been throwing up...we go see the dr today finally!!!! i have tried using the steam cleaner with the cleaning product for pets in it but there are still stains that just won't come out!!! HELP!!!!!

Don't know what you've already used on it, but try Oxi-Clean.....make a strong solution of it in water and soak the area good -- let it stand for 15 minutes and then soak it up with paper towels -- rinse with cold water.

My cat spits up a lot and usually only on the carpet, never on the tile floor.....stupid cat.   I use the Oxi-Clean and it does a pretty good job.

You can also try peroxide to help with the blood stains.  Good luck!

Stick with the oxy clean. Dont use peroxide on carpet. it takes the color out. You dont want to have to replace the carpet.

hey carla...i ended up using club soda and it worked pretty good!!! didn't have to spend any money to get the oxy clean...woohoooo but thanks for the warning on the carpet color!!!

 Oxy Clean does it for me too.

Other uses:  fill the bathtub with water then add Oxy Clean let it set for several hours then drain..  the shower; cover the drain and fill with water...  spray the walls with a liquid mix...  comes clean so nicely.

Carpets:  I dissolved the powder in a spray bottle then sprayed the carpet.  Let it sit for a while then shampoo.  I was amazed at how much "stuff" came out.  Especially old soap from other cleaners.

I hope Bandit will be feeling better soon.
